Listen to the word, read the hint, and spell it correctly
Spelling is more than memorising letter sequences — it builds phonemic awareness, vocabulary and reading fluency. Children who spell well tend to read more confidently and write more freely.

Easy uses simple 3–4 letter CVC words (cat, dog, sun) — perfect for early readers aged 4–6. Medium introduces common words with blends, digraphs and silent letters for ages 6–8. Hard tackles multi-syllable words like “beautiful” and “necessary” for ages 8–11.
Let your child start at their comfort level and move up when they can consistently spell 10+ words in a row (watch the streak counter!).
Encourage children to say the word out loud before typing it. Breaking words into syllables ("but-ter-fly") makes long words less intimidating. After getting a word wrong, look at the correct spelling together and spot the tricky part.
